Testing

Our Hearing Aid Practitioner conducts thorough assessments using diagnostic tools like audiometry (pure tone and speech tests) and tympanometry to determine the type and extent of hearing loss. These evaluations help us recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.

Hearing Aids

Hearing aids are small electronic devices worn in or behind the ear that amplify sound for individuals with hearing loss. We carry all major hearing aid manufacturers such as Oticon, Phonak, Signia, Widex, Starkey, ReSound, Bernafon, and Unitron. We also carry all styles of hearing aids so we can fit and adjust to everyone’s unique ear shape and need.

Dementia Screening

We screen for dementia by performing what is called a pre-cognitive screening on a machine called the Cognivue Thrive. This machine tests the patient’s memory, reaction time, ability to focus and follow instructions. After 5 minutes, the test is completed and gives us results indicating areas where the patient may be struggling, this helps us identify if they are experiencing early stages of dementia.

Mobile Hearing Care

Patients with an inability to commute and/or physical conditions preventing them from leaving their residence, would greatly benefit from our Mobile Hearing Care Services. We can perform all the services (hearing testing, hearing aid fitting and adjustments, cleaning and instrument checks) as our clinic, with our Mobile Hearing Aid Practitioner.
